Jon Burkhart is the co-author of Newsjacking: The Urgent Genious of Real-time Advertising and founder of the content marketing consultancy TBC Global where he leads content strategy, influencer marketing, social media marketing, story-telling and content creation workshops for brands and agencies. He’s led social media and content training for British Design & Art Direction (D&AD) and currently leads it for the Marketing Agencies Association (MAA).
In 2010, he co-founded the world’s first blog dedicated to real-time and reactive creativity called Urgent Genius. A seasoned keynote speaker, Jon speaks at marketing conferences in Europe and the States. In fact, he’s one of very few people to speak six years in a row at the world’s largest tech/marketing conference South By Southwest Interactiove (SXSWi) where he now serves on the Programming committee of SEAT (Sport and Entertainment Alliance in Technology) which is the largest gathering of marketing and tech directors for pro sport teams. Previously, Jon was social content director at Iris Worldwide.
At this year’s Clever Content Conference, Jon will host and speak at the B2C track on April 11th AND do a creative and VERY interactive workshop for B2C marketers on how to make curious and ballsy content marketing on a small budget.
